Farmhouse Conversion

This project was an upgrade and extension to an old farmhouse. The outside was cladded in locally sourced stone and the inside has exposed oak beams, joists, staircases and flooring. The house is heated by Ground Source heating with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. The gardens were landscaped with lawns, paddock and stone walls around the boundary. There was also a stable built to house three horses with tack room and a double car port.

The kitchen has Traditional Welsh Flagstone style flooring, Bespoke Handmade kitchen units, Granite & Oak worktops, a Belfast sink and Exposed Oak Beams

The bedrooms have Made to Measure Oak A frames and Handpainted Traditional Sash Windows. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom with Travertine tiles, Exposed Oak beams, Handpainted bespoke wood panelling, built in vanity units with Granite Worktops and a mixture of tub or claw feet baths and walk-in showers

All rooms were finished in Farrow & Ball Heritage colours in partnership with the Interior Designer and Client.

Barn Conversion set near Elan Valley Dams

This project was an old stone barn in The Wye Valley which was converted into a beautiful 3 bedroomed home. Landscaping included newly built garden walls, Bespoke Patio areas including steps, with ponds and lawned areas incorporating meandering water features.

The inside of the property had underfloor heating fitted throughout the ground floor with a mixture of Slate and Oak flooring. The traditional existing oak beams were stripped back by sandblasting then preserved and restained. Two Bespoke Oak staircases were created with open views and balcony areas. All of the oak windows and doors were purpose-made and double glazed to building regulations and the conversion was given a Grade A Slate roof.

The kitchen was fitted out with Solid Oak units and Granite Worktops with a free standing cooker.

Water to the property was provided by a Borehole drilled on site.

Barn Conversion near Garth

This was an old cow shed and haybarn which was converted into a five bedroomed family home.

The haybarn became an open plan kitchen, living room and utility room while the cowshed became the sleeping area. With a water filled underfloor heating system, a mixture of slate and carpeted flooring, exposed existing beams, purpose made solid oak doors and windows, purpose made slate worktops and a freestanding Range Cooker in the kitchen area

The bathrooms were tiled with Travertine wall and floor tiles with a Tub Bath in the main bathroom

The exterior was finished with Wavy Edged Larch Board cladding, a Traditional Grade A Slate roof and the existing stone work was repointed.

Sun Room near Brecon

This was an extension sun room added to an existing Farmhouse. A Bespoke Solid Oak timber building with a stone plimth was constucted on site. It had a Traditional Grade A Slate roof and slate flooring with electric underfloor heating

The retaining walls and steps were made from Locally Sourced stone and the internal areas had Solid Oak doors and skirtings.

Barn Converted for Holiday Let

All of the existing stonework on the gable end and back wall was repointed and the front of the existing building was timber cladded. All of the new windows, doors, frames and skirtings were purpose built from solid oak. An oil run system was installed to provide the hot water and central heating and the property had a total electrical rewire. A new slate floor was put down in the ground floor and bathroom while a new Solid Oak floor finished off the bedroom. The kitchen was fitted with units, stylish black worktops and a builth in oven with hob and the bathroom was tiled floor to ceiling and fitted with a Claw Foot bath and shower.
